Purpose and legal basis for our processing
Mama’s Cooking processes personal data in the context of its services to enable participation in a workshop, online programme, as well as for communication and invoicing purposes. In addition, Mama’s Cooking processes personal data in the context of its business operations, including the recruitment and selection of staff, the processing of administration, the management of ICT systems, compliance with legal obligations, archiving and handling of requests, complaints and disputes. It further processes personal data for marketing and communication purposes, including managing this website, sending e-mail newsletters and organising webinars. Legal bases for the processing are to enter into and perform agreements that Mama’s Cooking enters into with you and to comply with legal obligations. Furthermore, for sending the e-mail newsletter, sending e-mail invitations for events and placing cookies and web beacons, Mama’s Cooking requests your consent. What personal data and origin
When you sign up for the emails, newsletter
For sending the email newsletter, Mama’s Cooking processes your name and email address. Mama’s Cooking obtains your personal data because you provide it to her yourself. We keep your data until you unsubscribe from the newsletter.
If you want to or are going to participate in a webinar, workshop or online programme
Mama’s Cooking processes your name and contact details so that we can register you for the event and send you related information. After the event, we will use your details to contact you.
Your rights
You have the right to request Mama’s Cooking to inspect your data. If the data is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you have the right to request its amendment or supplementation. You also have the right to object to the processing of these data and to request Mama’s Cooking to delete your data. The processing of your personal data by Mama’s Cooking is based on your consent. Withdrawal of consent cannot be retroactive and therefore does not affect the lawfulness of the processing of your data prior to the withdrawal. Your personal data will [in principle] not be transferred by Mama’s Cooking to countries outside the European Union. For the provision of mailings, Mama’s Cooking engages Active Campaign as a processor. Active campaign is based in the United States. Complaint regarding the use of personal data
If you have a complaint about the use of your personal data by Mama’s Cooking, please contact us. We take your complaint very seriously and are happy to look for a solution together. The purpose of this is to optimise the design of the website and the information presented on it. To ensure that information from cookies cannot be traced back to an individual, nor can it be viewed or used by Google, Mama’s Cooking has taken measures in line with the manual of the Personal Data Authority on privacy-friendly setting of Google Analytics. A processing agreement has been concluded with Google. In doing so, we have chosen to mask the last octet of the IP address, and ‘data sharing’ has been turned off. Active Campaign
When sending email newsletters and event invitations, Mama’s Cooking uses Active Campaign. On the sign-up pages for newsletters and invitations, Active Campaign places a cookie. More information about these cookies can be found on Active Campaign’s website. Emails sent using Active Campaign also contain web beacons. A web beacon, also called internet tag, pixel tag or clear GIF, is used to collect information about the use of the emails. This allows Mama’s Cooking to analyse the use of the newsletter and invitations and to optimise their design and content.
